Erin Marshall was born in Portland, Oregon on October 21, 1985. She is currently working towards her BFA in Sculpture at the Pacific Northwest College of Art. Metal working, carpentry, mold making, and found object assemblage come together in Marshall’s work as she explores themes of myth-making and the fallibility of memory. Her sculptures often take the form of arcades or cabinet -of-curiosity-style displays. The artist’s work has earned her accolades in the form of juried scholarships from both PNCA and Marylhurst University, participation at the Pacific Northwest College of Art BFA Juried Show (2013), and the Juror’s Special Compliments Award at the Portland Community College Juried Show (2012). Erin Marshall currently lives, works, and studies in Portland, Oregon.
